Let me first begin by saying Shaklee is a fantastic MLM opportunity for the right person if you want to be able to leverage yourself and achieve financial freedom, as is with most any MLM. I have been around Shaklee most of my life and my Mom and brother are distributors in Shaklee. My Mom has sold Shaklee Products and has been involved for almost three decades now. So I can tell you that it is a solid company, with wonderful products, has a great compensation plan and has defiantly stood the test of time.

However, if you want to be successful in your Shaklee venture, you have to have more than a fantastic product.  You must have a good system that you can make work for you . With the main objective of getting more reps and sell more product or you’re going nowhere. A lot of those that get signed up in Shaklee and don’t succeed at all because they try and build their Shaklee business in such a fashion that doesn’t suit them at all. If you want to succeed in Shaklee you’re going to have to bring in a lot of new sign-ups, and traditional methods that your up-line might be teaching you possibly is not the right way for you. Here are some ways to help you get more sign-ups fast!

First, ask yourself what you’re best at. Are you skilled at talking in front of people? Are you talented at talking to people on the phone? Are you creative? Are you good on a computer? You’re primary personal skill set should determine your business building methods. Creative people tend to be better at building through advertising campaigns, where people who have huge spheres of influence tend to be better at doing local events.

Second, Focus on one building method at a time only. I can’t tell you how many people I’ve seen trying to build a network marketing business and they jump from one method to another before they ever get any good at one thing. If you want to make a long lasting Shaklee success story, you need to build your business in a way that is extremely focused around your core skills.

Third, Focus your energy on recruiting distributors and selling product. Those are the only activities that produce income in Shaklee, and if you’re focusing on non productive activities you’re going to stay frustrated in your business. Focus your energy and you’ll gain more momentum simply by being clear about what you’re doing.

Fourth, Make a commitment that no matter what that you’ll reach your goals in your business. Write them down, be realistic and set short and long term goals.

Finally, just be teachable. If you want to make it to your goals in Shaklee opportunity, you’re going to have an entire company and up-line support system who are willing to help you reach your goals. Find someone who has a similar personality and who has had success and emulate their behavior.
